Quiz Day

The long awaited and prepared for day has finally come and gone.  Our Bible memory passage for this year was Matthew 25:1-13 for kindergarten through grade two.  The older students learned the rest of the chapter.  Quiz Day for the Laura, Laborie, and Limes Mennonite Schools was held here in the Limes.  I was a coach for the older students - a new experience for me.  Especially since I do not know very much about quizzing!  The day started at 9:00 with devotions and a song - and then the quizzing began.  The quizzing lasted right up until lunch time, with the final quiz beginning right after lunch and after that followed the highly anticipated teachers' quiz!  The Laura teachers won that quiz by a landslide!  The day was wrapped up by the quizmasters handing out various awards for the top quizzers and teams.
