School is back in session again after a two week holiday for Easter. It's good to be back! We are already in week 2 of our 12 week trimester! Time is flying by. I already bought my ticket to go home for the summer and I'm pretty excited about that!

My students are plugging along at their work. We are mostly finished with 2nd grade work and have started or will be starting 3rd grade work just now. They are excited to be learning join-on (cursive handwriting) and multiplication.
We are starting to prepare for our MCT test, which is a standardized test that all second-graders on the island take close to the end of the trimester. It is sometimes somewhat difficult for the since they are not used to the some of the wording and the setup of the test since they are not in a government-run school and they use a different curriculum.
